The original Bridgeport team was a Charter Member of the West Virginia Scholastic Lacrosse Association (WVSLA) September 2007.
This Bridgeport Lacrosse team was not officially affiliated with Bridgeport school system at the time.
Bridgeport became Bridgeport-Harrison to more identify with more potential players in Harrison County.
In the fall of 2012, B-H split into two teams, Bridgeport and Harrison County. Bridgeport will be made up of solely Bridgeport HS students,
with Bridgeport HS administrative approval, while Harrison County will continue as an area team
catering to high school students who do not have a team at their school.
